Food and drinks are limited to the party room only. Popcorn and red punch are not allowed.
Party size includes adults (minimum ratio of 1 adult per every 10 children for ages 12-17 and 1 adult per every 5 children under 12 is required during party times.
Adults going into the pool area must be dressed in proper swim attire. For those adults not in proper swim attire a viewing area is available in the lobby.
Decorations provided by the group are allowed on tables only. No decorations may be attached to the walls or ceilings of the facility. Confetti, or tape of any type, is not allowed. Please ask the Rental Office if you have a specific request.
Use of candles, other than birthday cake candles, is strictly prohibited.
All rentals must be requested 14 days in advance by completing a party request application and submitting full payment at time of booking. Events cancelled less than 14 days in advance will forfeit the security deposit and rental fees. The City of Gladstone will retain security deposits in event of cancellation and/or damage to the community center or its contents.
The City of Gladstone reserves the right to relocate activities to a comparable space in the event of conflicts.
The City of Gladstone reserves the right to refuse rental activities that are not of good character, illegal or may be detrimental to the group or the facility. Use that requires a fee by participants or is profit oriented in nature is discouraged and must be approved by the community center administrator.
Guests are allowed in designated party areas only (Party room, pool, changing rooms, and/or gymnasium). Adults must provide supervision of youth while in the facility at all times.
