A goal of the Police Department is the safeguarding, storage and proper disposal of all property coming into its custody. The Department strives to maintain property in the same condition as it was received and to preserve the evidentiary integrity of property that is contraband or held for presentation in court.
Every reasonable effort will be made to return property to its rightful owner.
For inquiries about property release, please provide Name, ID # and case number, if known.
Recovered Property Booked for Safekeeping
Property booked for safekeeping may be retrieved during business hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Closed on Holidays.
Owner must provide valid ID and Gladstone case number

Recovering Property Booked as Evidence

Property booked in as evidence must be cleared for release by the assigned investigator/Unit.
Property owners must contact the Investigator for the property clearance process to begin.
The Investigator will make contact with the property owner when the property is no longer needed for investigative purposes and is cleared for release.
Unclaimed and Recovered Property
Unclaimed and recovered property is held for 30 days, and is then disposed of on propertyroom.com.
