Fire and Safety Training

Gladstone Fire Department offers free Community CPR classes quarterly. Classes will be held on the first Monday of the following months; January, April, July, and October. Gladstone Fire Station 2. Located at 6569 N. Prospect. Class size is limited to 20 students and will begin at 6:00 PM and last around one hour. Currently, classes are open to all patrons who wish to attend. Friends and Family CPR is NOT A CERTIFICATION LEVEL CLASS. However, a class completion certificate will be offered.

Students must be at least eight years of age to attend. Any student between the ages of 8 and 16 years old is required to have an adult 17 years of age in attendance with them.

The free Family and Friends CPR class does not meet current industry standards for Health Care Providers. Gladstone Fire/EMS also offers Heart-Saver and BLS Courses. The cost for this certification is $50, and it is a hybrid-style class.

If interested in Heart-Saver and BLS courses, email Captain Colin Chang @ colinc@gladstone.mo.us.
