What is the City of Gladstone Planning Commission?
The Planning Commission is made up of twelve (12) Gladstone volunteers who have been appointed by the Gladstone City Council to review and act on matters related to planning, zoning, and development.
Meetings
Planning Commission meetings take place at 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month at Gladstone City Hall. Gladstone City Hall is located at 7010 North Holmes Street, Gladstone, MO. 64118. The public is invited to attend these meetings.
These meetings are subject to the Missouri Sunshine Law.

Virtual Commission Meeting - Monday, December 7, 2020
Due to the increase of COVID - 19 cases in Clay County, the December 7th Planning Commission meeting will take place virtually. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. on the Zoom platform. As always, members of the public are invited to join these meetings. Please see below for instructions on how to watch or participate in the virtual Zoom meeting.
How to Obtain the Zoom Meeting ID and Passcode

To watch the meeting
1. Click the link above to join the meeting through Zoom app (free).
a. If using a mobile smartphone or a tablet, you will need to download the Zoom app (Free).
b. If using a desktop or laptop computer, you can either use the web browser to join the meeting or may choose to download the desktop app. https://zoom.us/
2. You can join the meeting as a guest or sign up for a free account.
3. When entering the virtual meeting, please type your first and last name in the screen name box.
4. You will then wait in the virtual lobby until the moderator lets you in the meeting.
5. Once the moderator allows you to enter the meeting, please click 'Call using internet audio' and 'Join with video'. Joining with video is optional.
To speak during the meeting
6. Once you have joined the meeting, you should be able to view and hear the meeting's activities. During commission meetings, public comments are only allowed during the public comment portion of the agenda. Please use the chat function to let the Chair and moderator know that you would like the opportunity to speak. If you are not speaking, please click the mute button on your screen.
7. Please state your first and last name and address of residence when you begin to speak.
