City Government
The City of Gladstone heavily relies upon its citizens to volunteer their expertise, time and efforts as members of the City's various Boards and Commissions. Gladstone Board and Commission members help advise the Mayor, Council and the City Leadership Team on issues such as planning and zoning, parks, capital improvements, and economic development. The following is a listing of the city of Gladstone's Boards and Commissions:
These Boards and Commissions function most effectively when citizens who have an interest and knowledge of a particular area of City government staff them. This is most certainly true with the current Board and Commission members who are now serving the City. The City Council relies on their expertise in their decision-making process and are better informed about the issues because of their work.
