City of Gladstone


PLANNING and ZONING

The Planning Division is responsible for administration of development activities within the City. Files regarding the Zoning Ordinance, subdivision plats, special uses, variances, and site plans are all maintained within the department.

One of the reasons for obtaining a Special Use Permit would be to operate certain types of home based businesses. The City Collector processes applications for Occupational Licensing, however the Planning Division is also involved when a Special Use Permit is required.
