Happy Rock Park
This 79.8 acre park, located at NE 76th and N. Antioch, is the pride of the Gladstone Parks System. This park offers 5 lighted ball fields, 4 soccer fields, 4 lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, 3 playgrounds, restrooms, drinking fountains and a 1.3 mile fitness trail that circles the park.
Two shelters are availabe for rent for a picnic, birthday party, family reunion, group meeting, etc. The large shelter at Happy Rock is located on the west side of N. Antioch. It features 8 picnic tables, electricity, restrooms, water fountain and a playground.
The small shelter at Happy Rock is located on the east side of N. Antioch Road. It features 3 picnic tables, restrooms, water fountain and a playground. Grills are not available at either of these shelters, but you are more than welcome to bring your own. This shelter is rented in 4 hour blocks: 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Oak Grove Park

Oak trees fill this 17 acre park located at NE 76th St. and N. Troost. With a playground, sand volleyball court (nets not provided), two picnic shelters, picnic areas and tables, a drinking fountain and restrooms, this park is a favorite among those looking for a place to gather and have some fun. The 1/2 mile walking trail provides fitness buffs and casual strollers with a beautiful setting. The open spaces make this park the natural choice for the permanent home of Gladstone"s Theatre in the Park program. Gladstone Theatre in the Park performs two shows every year.
Two shelters are available for rent at Oak Grove Park. The large shelter is located on the north side of the park. The large shelter will have 10 tables and the Small shelter will have 6. It also features electricity and all the amenities of the park.
The small shelter at Oak Grove Park is located on the south side of the park. It features 6 picnic tables, restrooms, water fountain and a sand volleyball court. Grills are not available at either of these shelters, but you are more than welcome to bring your own.This shelter is rented in 4 hour blocks: 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00-9:00 p.m

Oak Grove Loop Trail
Central Park


Located at NE 69th St. and N. Holmes, this 14.5 acre park is home to the Gladstone Community Center and the Municipal Pool. The Municipal Pool features a zero-depth entry pool, a spray ground, dumping bucket, open flume slide, concession area and deck, family changing area, shade structures and play features. For more information about the Gladstone Community Center please visit their website at www.gladstonecommunitycenter.com. Central Park features two lighted ball fields that are available for rental. Located on the North side of the park you will find a playground and a shelter containing 8 picnic tables & electricity that can be rented.This shelter is rented in 4 hour blocks: 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00-9:00 p.m

Meadowbrook Park
This 14 acre park is located at NE 60th Terrace and N. Michigan. It features a basketball court, pickleball courts, sand volleyball court (nets not provided), picnic area, playground, picnic shelter, a creek with a nostalgic walking bridge and a drinking fountain. This shelter is rented in 4 hour blocks: 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Hobby Hill East Park
This 6-acre park is nestled at NW 76th Terrace and N. Main, 3 blocks west of N. Oak Traffic way. It contains picnic grounds, a park shelter, nature trails, an 18-hole disc golf course, restrooms and parking. A spring and a stream keep watch over this secluded treasure. This shelter is rented in 4 hour blocks: 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Hobby Hill West Park
This 28-acre park is located at 7601 N. Broadway. It showcases multigenerational play structures including a zip line, fitness/play equipment for adults, shelter, restrooms, ¾ mile walking track surrounding a serene wetland environment, a reflection area and, an 18-hole disc golf course. This shelter is rented in 4 hour blocks: 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Flora Park
This 29 acre park is located at NW 60th Terrace and N. Flora. It includes a picnic area, small ball diamond, playground, drinking fountain and a shelter. This shelter is rented in 4 hour blocks: 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Hamilton Heights Park
This 9 acre park is located at NW 67th St. and N. Main. Facilities at the park include a playground, shelter, handicapped accessible fishing pier, a walking trail and a basketball court. This shelter is rented in 4 hour blocks: 7:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Hidden Hollow Park
This secluded grove of trees, located behind Prospect Plaza shopping center at NE 64th St. and N. Prospect, provides a quiet spot for meditation or to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
