Gest Ride Service
Beginning September 1, 2025, Gladstone residents will have access to a new $3 ride program through GEST, a national transportation service. This on-demand, door-to-door service will provide rides to destinations within Gladstone city limits, as well as to the nearest operating bus stop and to healthcare facilities in North Kansas City, Parkville, Liberty, Riverside, and portions of Kansas City, MO within Clay and Platte counties. Residents can schedule rides through the GEST app or by calling 816-919-4378 (GEST).

With thousands in prizes up for grabs, it's game on for schools, businesses, and organizations!

Missouri Route 1 Corridor Updates
The Missouri Department of Transportation is planning a full-depth reconstruction of N Prospect Avenue from NE 72nd Street to NE 64th Street as part of their Missouri Route 1 Corridor Upgrades. Reconstruction includes pavement rebuilding, a new storm sewer, culvert restorations, and an extension of Happy Rock Trail. The project also involves resurfacing the roadway from Route 152 to NE 72nd Street.
