The City of Gladstone's Parks and Recreation Department offers a bi-monthly newsletter. The Gladstone 50+ Newsletter updates those 50 years young and up of upcoming day trips and extended travel. To view a copy of the newsletter, please click on the links below. To receive your copy of the Gladstone 50+ News by email, please send an email to lizs@gladstone.mo.us . By receiving your copy via email, you receive the newsletter at least one week before those who receive it by mail.

Do you have to live in Gladstone to go on trips or participate in activities?

• No, participants of Gladstone's 50+ programs, trips, and activities do not need to be residents of Gladstone.

Do you have to be over 50 to participate?

• The trips and activities are reserved for ages 50+ first. We do make exceptions if the trip is not full by the deadline date, and on overnight and extended tours.

How do I get on the list to receive the Gladstone 50+ Newsletter?

How do I register for a trip?

• To register for a day trip can you call 816-423-4200, or 816-423-4086 to pay with a credit card. You can also go to the Gladstone Community Center to register. If sending a check, make check payable to the City of Gladstone and mail to 6901 N. Holmes, Gladstone, MO. 64118.

Will I get a refund if I cancel a trip?

• For day trips, if you cancel before the deadline date you will get a full refund. After the deadline date you will receive a refund if we can replace you. On the overnight and extended tours, if you cancel by the deposit deadline date you will receive a full refund. After the deposit deadline there will be cancellation penalties. You can find cancellation details on each individual trip brochure.
