Student Internship Program

The student intern program provides students with the opportunity to observe and participate in designated activities within the Gladstone Police Department. In addition, the Department can observe potential police applicants in action. The focus of the program will be to offer the students a variety of exposure within the Department.

Candidates must be currently enrolled as a student in a College or University. A Gladstone resident enrolled in a college or university will be given preference for the program over non-Gladstone residents applying for an internship . Other applicants will be considered and accepted at the discretion of the Department.

Applicants must complete a Student Intern Program Application, Ride-Along Waiver of Liability and Confidentiality forms, and will be subject to a background check.
