Located in Central Park, the Gladstone Municipal Pool has been a summer tradition in the Northland since 1978. The Municipal Pool was renovated in 2007 providing visitors with many new amenities, an expanded concession area and pool deck, shade structures, deck furniture, and play features. In 2022 the bathhouse received all new fixtures and an addition of a party room! Also, the admission gate and office have been relocated to the west side of the building with a new entry off of Holmes Street.
2025 Outdoor Pool Season
The Outdoor Municipal Pool will be opening for the season at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 24. The pool will close for the season at 4 p.m. on Monday, August 18.
Gladstone Municipal Pool Hours:
Sunday - Thursday from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday & Saturday from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Day Pass Admission - $10 per person
Day Pass grants admission to the Outdoor Municipal Pool until closing time for that day.
Children under the age of 3 receive free admission.

*To receive the Gladstone Community Center Member Municipal Pool Membership discount, the Community Center member must have a membership in good standing through Labor Day, Monday, September 1 of the 2025 season. Single Month/Quarterly/Annual Community Center Pass holders, whose memberships expire prior to Labor Day, must renew their membership at the time of purchase to receive the discount. Monthly Auto-Debit members must remain in good standing throughout the 2025 summer season. If monthly auto-debit member defaults payment during the 2025 summer season, municipal pool membership will be deactivated until the Community Center membership is paid and reactivated.

The Municipal Pool Party Room rental fee includes use of the party room for 2 hours. Any guests that do not have an outdoor pool membership will be charged $8 each. The room will be set with tables and chairs. To reserve your party time, contact the Gladstone Community Center at (816) 423-4200.
Pool Rules & Regulations
- Obey lifeguards at all times.
- Children under 10 years old must be supervised by a responsible person over 15 years of age.
- Smoking is not allowed in Central Park or the Pool Complex.
- Horseplay, profane language and undesirable behavior will not be tolerated.
- Swimsuits must be worn in water. No t-shirts or swimsuit cover-ups may be worn in the water.
- Swim diapers are required for infants and toddlers using the pools.
- Only U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation devices are allowed.
- Lap lanes are always available during open swim hours. No other activity will be allowed in this area.
- Flume slide riders must be 48" tall.
- All food and beverages must be consumed in the concession area, with the exception of water.
- Baby strollers are only allowed in the concession area.
