The Community Center's software system is currently offline and not accessible. Our provider's software systems team continues to aim every available resource for resolution of the ongoing outage. During this time, we are unable to perform some of our general functions such as registering for Group-X classes, sports activities, swim lessons and a variety of other programs within our department. In addition, the only form of payment that we can accept is cash or check. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this is causing and appreciate your understanding in the matter. We will continue to share updates as we receive them.

Community Center - Gladstone Gators


Gladstone's Official Developmental Swim Team since 1989, is open to all levels of swimmers 6 - 18 years of age. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of competitive swimming. The team provides an opportunity for boys and girls to participate in an organized training program and exposes them to competition in our local Metropolitan Community Swim Association (MCSA) Summer Swim League.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Gladstone Gators Practice Monday - Friday at the Gladstone Municipal Outdoor Pool
To better coach the team, practices are split into two groups determined by age of the participant:
 11 - 18 year olds: 6:30 AM - 7:40 AM
6 - 10 year olds: 7:45 AM - 8:45 AM
PRE-SEASON INFORMATIONAL MEETING

PREREQUISITES
Participants should be able to swim proficiently 25-meters on both front and back to participate on the team.
These prerequisites are in place to maintain the safety of all participants.


GATOR FEES
Gladstone Municipal Pool Member: $105.00
Gladstone Municipal Pool Non-Member: $125.00
 *Included in fee, every participant will receive a team participation award.

All participants that register by May 11th, will receive a free Gator team shirt with registration.
Additional T-shirts for other family members can be purchased at the time of registration for $15 each.


INCLEMENT WEATHER AND EVENT TEXT ALERTS:
Due to inclement weather, the pool may be closed and practice cancelled. This decision is made by City of Gladstone staff at the earliest time possible for each situation. Practice cancellations will be sent out as soon as the decision is made via text. In order to receive weather and event text alerts you will need to register for the Textcaster system by clicking here. WINTER SWIM TEAM CONDITIONING
Winter Swim Team Conditioning is designed to mirror a traditional swim team practice. The focus of this class is to help swimmers improve endurance, strength, speed, and technique. Participants will refine all competitive strokes, flip turns, and starts through structured swim sets and dryland exercises. This program is an excellent opportunity for current swim team athletes to maintain overall fitness, build confidence, and prepare for the upcoming swim season.
